Hi, I'm Christie

I’m a Brighton, Michigan photographer serving high school seniors, families, and pet owners throughout Metro Detroit, Ann Arbor, and surrounding areas with clean, natural imagery that balances genuine emotion with beautifully styled portraits.

While Michigan is home, and I am native to the mitten, I've also lived in Texas and Arizona.  My love for photography began after a safari to Africa inspired me to pick up my first DSLR camera. I was instantly hooked.

Photography became deeply personal to me as I watched my own children grow and realized just how quickly the years pass. I wanted to preserve the connection, personality, and fleeting moments that make each season meaningful — and that same sense of care and intention is what I bring to every session.  

For families, my goal is to create images that feel natural, meaningful, and authentic. I believe photography should feel easy, enjoyable, and genuine. My hope is that when you look back at your images years from now, you’ll not only remember how things looked — but how they felt.

And for those of you with high school seniors — I don’t need to tell you how fast those early years flew by. With my senior sessions, I aim to capture each senior with confidence, class, and style, helping them see themselves the way God sees them: marvelously and wonderfully made.

I also love photographing pets — their personalities, quirks, and the connection they share with their people. Our pets are such an important part of our families, and those relationships deserve to be documented with the same care and intention

My sessions are relaxed, lightly guided, and designed to feel comfortable from start to finish. Whether we’re planning a senior session, updating family portraits, or documenting the personality of a beloved pet, I’ll help guide you through the process while creating images that feel polished, natural, and authentically you.
